Hello Netflix, I hope you're reading this, because you should. Please reconsider and return Longmire into production. Call it "Longmire Lives, or The Return of Longmire if you must. For all the reasons other writers already listed, and I'll list them; great writing, acting and a unique western noir setting. If you wanted to hook multi generations of subscribers you couldn't do better with this modern western. If Gunsmoke was any indication of popularity, with 635 episodes, spanning twenty years, then the return of Longmire will be a smart move.
I will give you a spoiler for every single episode: "Longmire wins again!" Although it can be entertaining, this is basically a refined version of Chuck Norris' "Walker Texas Ranger." Longmire walks in, kicks everybody's ass and in the end, he never loses. The characters are extreme versions of stereotypes and truly aren't like anyone I've ever met in my life. I thought the concept was good, but the execution turned out being pretty poor.
